What Will the Health Check Entail?
The Fifteen Group will request a “wish list” of data beforehand. The more information, the more effective the call will be.
- The first 1/2 hour of the workshop is a one-on-one discussion, reviewing the materials provided and discussing pain points.
- For the next hour, The Fifteen Group will work offline and examine the provided information (financial statements, menu pricing strategy, POS velocity reports, etc.). They will use their analytical tools to highlight opportunity areas.
- The last 1/2 hour is one-on-one to review their tailored suggestions to boost profits (both immediate and long-term).
What does the Fifteen Group analyze?
The Fifteen Group will review financial statements, menu costing, inventory reports, labour schedules, daily reporting tools, and POS (or POS access for the consultation timeline) velocity reports will be analyzed to identify revenue growth opportunities. Hopkins adds, “We don’t usually get all that information, but we work with whatever information the owner gives.” Hopkins outlined, “We don’t want it to be onerous. If you have financial statements, send us your last three months and a printable report from your POS system. That should only take a few minutes, and then we can dive into it.”
